I waited for this image to happen as the sun slid from the sky. It’s intensity weakening every second but also intensifying the dynamic of the image. The foreground shadow area still holds enough detail which leads into the ‘Navajo - valley of the rocks’. Sandy plains leading up to the vast sandstone Buttes which punctuate the valley floor.
